Coloring My Hair

Finally, I had my hair dyed with eggplant color! And I did it on my own. Really cool when you're able to color your hair on your own to such a degree that it looks so stunning and stylish. But the thing is that, I'm bloody unsatisfied with this color! It looks so 'ah beng'. Damnit!

I was bloody terrified when I realized that the color I had chosen turned out to be something like this...

It was a total disaster for my hair.

This is before I become the 'ah beng' thanks to my hair color.

Well, no choice. Have to dye my hair again with a more suitable color. Hopefully it'll work this time. So, how do I did it without any proper knowledge and skill, without having to visit the salon, without having to spend a single penny?

Actually, the answer is - magic of Photoshop la.

With photoshop, it's a dream come true. You can create anything you can dream of. The limit is only your imagination and creativity. Besides, it's a good tool for a blogger. ;)

I'm Going To BarCamp Malaysia!

Or maybe not. I'm worry if i can't find my way back. Why in the hell would I put myself in such a place? But it's a chance I wouldn't want to miss! Need not worry, there's still two more weeks to go until the day comes. I still have some time to decide whether to go or not to go and by that time i might have figured out how to go there and went home safely.

Registration for the BarCamp has been closed few days ago since all 150 seats had been snapped up extremely fast. Luckily I managed to grab myself a ticket for the event which will be the first time to be held in Malaysia. What else?! The ticket is free! A good thing for a poor guy like me.

So what is so fun and interesting about this BarCamp that make me so passionate and desperately want to join in the fun? Partying out with hot chicks till the wee hours? Watching the go-go dancers doing the exotic dances on a pole? Hunting for sexy brunette? Or...

Cocktail that is mix and serve by a sensual dressed barmaid?

Not all that! BarCamp is not a camping activity for bartenders. Likewise, it's not a place meant for people to watch go-go dancing or strippers. And yes, there's no form of entertainment such as those exemplified in 'Coyote Ugly' and you won't be seeing Tila Tequila doing the pole dance, although that would certainly be fun!

BarCamp Malaysia...

It's a gathering for all the computer geeks out there or to be more specific, a social event where all the web developers and designers, bloggers, techies, or even people who share the same passion and interest in the internet and technology can attend the event. It's a place where participants can give a demo, interact, help each other or share their knowledge in web and open source technologies. Like what others always say, sharing is caring! And this is what that is going to happen in BarCamp. So you don't expect bloggers or officials performing a strip dance at all!

So it's all about the internet mostly. Besides, participants are ought to give a session of talk on a flexible topic but what am i gonna present? But whether I'm going or not is still a mystery.

Mingling with all those experts would be fun I guess? Hmm...

Assignment?

You can expect that a lot in colleges and also universities regardless of what courses you're taking. In fact, you can't escape from these assignments in colleges or universities. Well, in my college where I'm studying currently, even co-cu activities are not spared from this assignment thing I call 'disease'. But luckily this disease won't cost your life.

Because everyone is compulsory to take part in any co-cu to obtain that 2 credit hours so I opted for the basketball club which of course is my interest. I was so eager to attend the basketball club meeting which I thought it would be fun and interesting where we only have to play the ball the way we like and compete against each other in teams. But the fact is that, I'm damn wrong about the impression I had on the basketball club.

On the very first day, we were told to do warm-up which was really irksome for me. Furthermore, we need to go through a dull and intensive training of basic movements, dribbling and so on after the warm-up. To make my life even more difficult and depressed, we are told to do assignments for our co-cu coursework, where we need to find out the rules and regulations of FIBA and who invented basketball, on the very first day we arrive at the basketball court. I was like WTF! I just want to play ball la. Who cares who invented this fucking ball we're playing!

This dude pictured above is James Naismith and yes, he is the father of basketball. The game, basketball, he created was inspired by his childhood game known as 'duck on a rock'. Thanks to him, now I'm supposed to search for the FIBA rules.

By the way, USA Dream Team has a new line-up for the next big event! Can they triumph and bring back glory to their nation with this new DT8? How far can they go in the coming Beijing Olympics?

Free SMS Service On The Net!

There are lots of websites that do offer free SMS service but all those that I came across with either don't work for me or the service is only available to specific country. There are also some which require tedious and troublesome process to register before you are eligible to use their free service. To sum that whole process up, it's SUCKS real bad!

Well, I finally found one that is definitely good for me and easy to sign up. That's Chawt. I swear, the whole sign up process take less than 1 minute and requires you to activate your account with your cellphone. After that, you can start off with your first free message. But there's a limit to the number of SMS you can send daily which is set to 15msg per day. Besides, for every SMS that you send, there are a line of advertisement attached together with the message. But, for something that's completely free of charge, I wouldn't complain too much about it ;).

If there's a better service like this, please, do share it with me :D

Yahoo!'s New @ymail.com Domain

If you haven't noticed, Yahoo! had recently released a new web-based email domain - @ymail.com, which is rather similar to Google's @gmail.com. So if you're using Google's @gmail.com, chances are that you might be interested in using @ymail.com by Yahoo!.

If you're planning to get one then you better do it quick especially if you want to register with common names like John, Peter, etc. Since it's still new and fresh, you might be able to register with email address you prefer.

Too bad for me, I didn't manage to get the name I want - alvin@ymail.com, even though I register on the 2nd day it is launched. Instead, I ended up with other name. I was like, WTF?! 2nd day only!

Besides that, Yahoo! is also releasing @rocketmail.com. Another email domain which you can register for free. But i didn't sign up on this.

My First Ever Posting

Finally, i had nothing else better to do so here you go, my first ever blog post :D. Unbelievable? Believe it! It's here right in front your eyes lol.

First of all, I would like to clear out all the questions in your mind about why i started this blog long ago and yet, not even an entry is written. Answer is damn simple, that's what the title(now become description) says mar. 'If everything is just that simple', don't get it? But now not simple anymore :( .

So, after more than half year I left this blog alone, I finally made up my mind to at least post something here. Before that I was too lazy to blog also.

Well, I guess it will take some time before my friends will actually found out that this blog had finally got it first post! How long will that be?? Hmmm...
